How To Make Paper Bag Leaves

Crafting and DIY are my favourite hobbies. There’s so many fun ideas out there and seasonal decor is no exception. I try not to buy too many new things when it comes to seasonal decorating, just a few staple pieces. For the last few years I’ve made these paper bag leaf stems for next to nothing. All you need is some brown paper lunch bags, hot glue and a branch from other stems or even pick one from outside!

Draw out a leaf shape on the paper bags, be creative and draw any shaped leaves you’d like. I try to do a few designs for variety.

Cut the leaves out a few layers of bags at a time, continue until you have enough for your branch. Crinkle then up gently and unfold then for a realistic look.

Hot glue them along the branch, staggering to keep them looking from looking too clumped together. I displayed mine on the fireplace mantle for a perfect neutral fall look
