let’s talk boundaries and here’s why.. 👇🏽

01 | 𝐮𝐧𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 and can warp our judgement causing us to be easily irritated and become frustrated or even angry. when something has bothered you, address it to lower the risk of misunderstandings later on and avoid resentment.

02 | ultimately, you teach people how to treat you. giving that friend the knowledge of what you’re willing and not willing to do; this 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.

03 | when setting boundaries, it allows you to speak up for yourself and taking time to address your concerns, opens space for discussion and a chance for 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 within the friendship.

boundaries are simply laying a foundation for a strong friendship. 🫶🏽
