The only type of shot I need 😜. I love to make my own ginger shots at home. The store bought ones are delicious but usually cost about $3/pop. They’re so easy to make at home with only 4 simple ingredients.
Some of the health benefits include:
🍋Ginger is antioxidant rich, anti-inflammatory, and helps with digestion and stomach upset
🍋Oranges and lemons are rich in vitamin C
🍋Cayenne is anti inflammatory and rich in antioxidants
I use these immunity shots for general health, when I’m feeling under the weather, or just to support my digestive help.
Recipe:
• 4 oranges (I used blood oranges but any type of orange works)
• 2 lemons
• 1 huge hunk of ginger - use more or less depending on how spicy you want it. I use a lot because I want it to really be spicy
• 1/4 tsp of cayenne (optional)
Add all ingredients to a juicer. If you don’t have a juicer you can add all the ingredients to a blender with enough water to blend into a juice like consistency and then strain the mixture through a strainer. Distribute the mixture into shot portions and store in the fridge for up to three days.
