I hope you learn to ditch MyFitnessPal, self-imposed restrictions, and the idea that you can’t have these things or that they’re the sole reason you don’t like how you look or feel.
This is what the 20% of my life looks like that I talked about in a recent post.
And honestly, letting go and letting myself be a damn human is what saved me from my disordered past with food and eating patterns. One day, I truly surrendered to that past and realized I didn’t want to live that way anymore.
I hope you learn to ditch the sugar free coffee flavors, unless that’s the taste you really truly enjoy.
I hope you order the burger and a side of fries.
I hope you eat the whole donut, not just half.
I hope you go to the brewery and drink one (or a few).
I hope you try at least one of every flavor of cookie you make when you have a cookie baking day with your mama, grandma, or friends.
I hope you order your favorite ice cream and eat the entire thing.
If you can relate to how I used to feel, I hope you’re able to find the courage to surrender one day too.
