Savor every bite of this creamy shrimp orzo, a perfect one-serving recipe that’s quick, easy and soooo delicious!😍
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup of orzo
• 1/3 cup of heavy cream
• 1/4 medium yellow onion, chopped
• 2-4 garlic cloves, chopped
• 2 tbsp of butter
• Handful of spinach
• Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
• 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese
• 0.5lb of shrimp (peeled)
• 1/2 tsp of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning, chili powder.
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, season the shrimp with the seasonings listed above.
2. Cook orzo per package instructions, drain and set aside.
3. In a medium pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp of avocado oil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add butter, onion and garlic, cook for a few minutes until onion becomes translucent and garlic fragrant. Add spinach and cook for about 1 minute.
5. Add the heavy cream, and combine well.
6. Add the Parmesan cheese, toss until well combined. Adjust salt , pepper and paprika to taste.
7. Add the cooked orzo and toss until creamy and well combined.
8. Transfer to a plate, top with the cooked shrimp and enjoy your creamy orzo!🤌🏻🍤
