I don’t know who needs to hear this but coffee isn’t a meal 🫣

Now hear me out, I used to be the girl that wouldn’t say a word in the morning before having my coffee. Coffee would be my breakfast and by noon I was crashing and desperate for another cup. I was having multiple cups of coffee a day, always tired, jittery anxious all at the same time.

Because of constantly having caffeine on an empty stomach my cortisol was high causing adrenal exhaustion. This led to weight gain, anxiety, depression, and terrible sleep patterns.

I felt awful and knew I needed a change. Upon starting my holistic health journey I started learning so much about gut health and hormonal health and realized that caffeine on an empty stomach was working against me. Making little changes like this has been a game changer.
