Knee surgery 🥲😭

So I went for my knee surgery in 2021? It was a reconstruction of my knee due to a previous dislocation that kept recurring. Here are some tips for healing ❤️‍🩹

1. Icing

-icing is so important. My doctor gave me this ice brace? Where I could basically strap two ice pack to my knee at all times. This helped so much. However the first few nights it was so painful to even remove the ice pack

2. Slight movements

- honestly imagine ur knee is locked at a 180 degree. If u just lay in bed. Ur hips and back will hurt so much more than ur knee I promise.

3. Physio

- once your doctor gives u the go ahead to start Physio, please do go regularly. It is painful and tedious but it does help.

Don’t be like me and take 1 year to recover because u are lazy to go Physio 😂
