Everyone knows what they are, but have you used them for your benefit?

Rest days are not for laziness and indulgence. How to actually use them to help build your body outside the gym is a the 🔑

More muscle balance is earned with a proper rest day, stretching your sore joints and muscles will prevent them from locking up and causing injuries when you get back into the gym. It is a preventative measure to avoid long term pain. Sometimes life gets crazy and the time you spend outside of the gym is necessary to maintain a good eating schedule.

What I mean by that is by using the time you would spend at the gym meal prepping will set you up for a successful eating schedule and stop you from eating out and going off track of your goals during the rest of your week! Changing your mentality about your rest days will make your body better in many different aspects.

Taking a day or two away from the gym also helps your muscles recharge to be ready to work hard, so your gym sessions will not be futile and you get the most out of them! ‼️‼️‼️
