Your kettle's probably DIRTY...

Before we had a home of our own, I didn't even know that we had to clean our boiling kettle regularly. I mean, tap water supposed to be clean right? And boiling clean water, how can it dirty my kettle?

❌️ I was terribly wrong!

It was only when we moved out from our parents' home and started to do everything on our own. One fine day, I realised that our drinking water had something sandy. 😱 I managed to trace back to our boiling kettle and saw there was a layer of "sand" settling at the bottom and the side of it! 🤮

After that, I learnt that those are limescale which builds up over time. It causes your drinking water to have a metallic taste and also slows down the boiling process!

Now, I descale my kettle on a monthly basis. Oh and not forgetting our thermoflask too!

Since we are talking about drinking water, I prefer to use something natural for cleaning, in this case, a LEMON 🍋, which has antibacterial properties!

Here are the step-by-step instructions!

1️⃣ Extract the lemon juice 🍋

2️⃣Fill your kettle up with water and mix in the lemon juice.

3️⃣ Leave the mixture overnight for the lemon to do its magic ✨️
