We celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday over the weekend!

We had other plans for her party like a good ol’ BBQ, we recently moved to an apartment with a pool , so the decision was easy .

Until the apartments told us we could no longer grill , and that we could have a very select few as guests in the pool . In my mind that was the party !

Thankfully my mom came up with the idea of Chuck E. Cheese’s, tbh I thought Chuck E was dead figuratively and literally lol . But it all worked out in the end . Because it ended up raining on her birthday anyways 😅

We don’t have very many friends or family so my daughter’s birthdays are usually intimate and at home . I found myself getting embarrassed that I’m still learning the basic party planning after 8 years . I’m just grateful she enjoyed herself , which was my main goal .
