Sautéed Chicken with Mustard-Tarragon Cream Sauce! 🍗
Oh my goodness this chicken dish is INCREDIBLE 🙌
Juicy sautéed chicken with a creamy mustard-tarragon sauce is exactly what you want for dinner!
Ingredients 🛒
• 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 6 boneless and skinless chicken thighs
• Kosher salt and black pepper
• 3 Tbsp chopped shallots
• 3/4 cup Pinot Grigio
• 2/3 cup chicken stock, low sodium
• 6 Tbsp heavy cream
• 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
• 2 Tbsp chopped tarragon
Directions ✍️
• Pour 2 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil into a large sauté pan.
• Season chicken with salt and black pepper then add to the pan. Cook chicken 6 minutes per side. Place chicken onto a separate plate and set aside.
• Pour 1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil into the same pan then add in the shallots, cook until softened.
• Pour in the wine and scrapping up any bits on the pan. Bring to the boil and reduce the wine by half.
• Whisk in the chicken stock, heavy cream, and mustards. Cook until the sauce thickens then add in the tarragon. Season with salt and pepper.
• Add the chicken back into the pan to warm through and spoon over the sauce onto the chicken.
• Serve up and enjoy!
