four words review: just get the ice-cream 🍨

so yesterday I went with my boyfriend to kinex to eat the gelato at paradidle. as I was having my monthly pre-period cramps cravings, 🩸 I decided to get the waffles as well to share and,

this has got to be one of the MOST disappointing 🧇 waffles I've eaten in awhile..?? it was $5.60 for this badly-cut and plated waffles?? 😔 it's like the server decided halfway to include the waffle edges? I used to work for a few months at an ice-cream cafe so this was kind of a pet peeve for me.❗plus some parts of the waffle was abit burnt and NOT in the good crispy way 💢

🍨 the only saving grace was honestly the ice-cream. we ordered the lotus biscoff ice-cream and the milk and honey flavours.

the milk and honey flavour was not bad but I felt like the honey really overpowered the milk taste to the point that it was just sweetness. However, the lotus biscoff was honestly quite delicious! 👍 the lotus biscoff crumbs were layered nicely into the ice cream, giving it a consistent crumbly texture

BUT at 2 scoops for $7.50 (1 scoop for $3.90), you're honestly better off buying the lotus biscoff ice cream at Mac's which gives you more quantity at a cheaper price

Overall Verdict: okay to be fair, this gelato place does not have a seating area and we had to eat this at the nearby eating area next to the shop. HENCE, I believe this may contribute to why their waffles are quite bad since customers would just probably opt for their ice cream. in conclusion,

four words: just get the ice-cream
