Recipe:
3 slices of Bacon
2 Chicken Breast
2 Potatoes ( peeled and small diced )
1 cup Mixed veggies
2Tbl of flour
3 cups Chicken Broth
1/2 cup Milk
To taste: Salt, pepper, thyme, sage, garlic powder, onion powder
Roux: 2Tbl Flour 2Tbl Butter ( Melt butter, sprinkle in flour & mix
✨In a large pot cook bacon until crispy then remove the bacon!
✨Season chicken breast & sear about 3 minutes on each side then remove! ( don’t worry if it’s uncooked in the middle, it’ll finish when in the soup )
✨ Add Mixed veggies to the pot & sprinkle 2 Tbl of flour & mix well then add chicken stock & milk!
✨ Add in the potatoes & bring to a boil!
✨ Turn heat down to a simmer, small dice the chicken, chop the bacon & add into the pot!
✨ Simmer until potatoes are soft, about 15 minutes!!
✨ If you want it thicker make roux & add it into the pot! If you want it looser add more chicken stock!!
