Nestled within a glass cactus greenhouse🌵 this cafe offers a unique animal encounter experience🐰🦚🐢🦆🐟 for just SGD$4️⃣SGD (or 100 baht). It gets better... the entrance fee INCLUDES a drink ☕️ from the café, with options under 100 baht. For any drinks priced above that, you just pay the difference!🤪 Did I mention it's non-touristy too? It's mainly just a chill spot for the locals! 🫢
As you walk towards the café, you will find PLENTY of photo opportunities📸—perfect for your Instagram feed hehe! The path is lined with koi ponds🎏, lush ferns 🌿, and even a waterfall, making it a delightful escape🍃 from the hustle and bustle of the city🏙️.
The matcha-themed café 🍵features some intriguing drinks like Yuzu Matcha, along with a tempting array of cakes. Sitting in the café felt reminiscent of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay🌸, with its vibrant greenery and relaxing atmosphere🌱. They sell mini cactus pots🌵 (see last pic)! I bought two, and they packed them nicely in a paper bag for safe transport😉.
The massive koi pond invites you to feed the fish for just 10 baht, and you’ll encounter an array of animals—peacocks, tortoises, rabbits, meerkats, and parrots🦜. It’s like a small petting zoo where you can interact with the animals and feed them for only 20 baht. Though I must admit, the smell can be a bit overwhelming🤧
📍Getting there is a bit of an adventure, as it’s about 45 minutes from the city center😅. There are two entrances, but BE AWARE that the ticket booth🎟️ is at the second entrance further in! The first entrance has some rather intimidating dogs 🐕 that barked fiercely—I was SO TERRIFIED😭😭😭 (although i love dogs.)
For just $4, I enjoyed a day filled with fun—comparable to a matcha drink in the city center that costs $6 or $7. This experience includes a cactus garden, animal encounters, and a café drink—all for an unbeatable price!💯
