my go-to place to satisfy my kr food cravings 🤤

in today's post, i would like to share with you my favourite plant-based korean restaurant i often frequent. located 5 mins away from tai seng, boneless kitchen sits at the end of a stretch of little shops. boneless kitchen is famous for their authentic korean dishes such as korean army stew and ban chan. here are some things i ordered the last time i visited:

korean army stew — 9/10

a simple and hearty bowl of army stew with cheese that includes enoki mushrooms, tteokbokki, mock meat, ramen, and more. for this dish, the cheese gives the broth a milky and thicker texture that was enjoyable and easy on the palate.

soybean paste soup — 8/10

super light and salty, easy on the stomach kind of soup. it was really comforting and it would have been perfect if i drank this while it was pouring out. i really like the generous amount of enoki mushrooms.

vegetable pancakes — 8/10

perfectly fried and crispy, the vegetable pancakes has carrots, cucumbers and other healthy goodies. it has a good crunch and it tastes even better when dipped in the soya sauce.

steamed egg — 7/10

you can never go wrong with steamed egg. it was slightly charred, the burned parts tasted surprisingly good.

side dishes — 10/10

the ban chans are my absolute favourites. i love the potato salad the most. it's so thick and lumpy!!! also, the preserved radish goes really well with every dish i had. perfection.

if vegetarian options are not something you’ll usually consider, head to the boneless kitchen and you will be in for a surprise!
