Little Secrets - should you read it?

It captured your attention right from the first few pages where Marin lost her child in a crowded Christmas market. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare. Her relationship with her husband, Derek, became strained and the Private Investigator she hired notified her of Derek’s affair….

Just like how the title suggests, little secrets peppered in everyone’s lives and Jennifer Hillier made it a point to write from 2 different points of view. Allowing you to experience the various characters’ struggles and feel for them. It also balances out your views and feelings for the characters.

Clues were thrown in here and there that keep you in suspense on what’s next and kept you reading. I had to even flip to previous pages to re-read certain parts to draw the linkages and I was shocked. The plot twist was unexpected and I love how it unfolds.

Couldn’t put this book down at all and I finished it within 6 hours (thanks NLB for tracking my reading time 😂)

My view: Definitely read it!! It is deserving of the 4.23/5 rating on Goodreads.
