Last night I made one of my favorites for dinner! Growing up my mom would make us chicken pot pie, and this is the exact recipe, just a little jazzed up with spices.

My favorite little fact about this particular dish is that my mom made this for my dad when they first met, and that’s how he fell in love with her. Now I’d like to share it with you ❤️

Note: this recipe makes MULTIPLE servings. Portion your ingredients as needed.

INGREDIENTS: Chicken tenders, potatoes, cream of chicken soup, Pillsbury crescent rolls.

WHAT TO DO:

*Pre-heat oven to 375*

1.)Peel, cube, and boil your potatoes. I used about 4 for this pie.

2.) After your potatoes boil, throw the chicken into the potato water and boil until the meat is white. I used 6 tenders to make this. Let the chicken sit for a few minutes to retain the moisture, then chop it up!

3.) Combine the chicken, potatoes, and 2 cans of Cream of chicken soup. Add salt, pepper, and your desired spices. I personally add herb de Provence, garlic & onion powder, paprika, and cayenne. MEASURE WITH YOUR HEART.

4.) Cover the casserole dish with the crescent rolls to create a pie crust. Add in your chicken and potato filling, and cover the top with the crescent rolls to enclose to filling.

5.) Bake in the oven for ~20 minutes at 375 UNCOVERED, or until the crust has become the perfect golden brown. Take it out, and let it cool so you don’t burn your mouth.

And THAT’S IT! Like I said, it’s super easy.
