Our MOST expensive pieces of furniture 🤑

We chose to invest in standing desks because we primarily #WFH and wanted to be comfortable & productive while working! We nearly forked out big bucks for Omnidesk, but were recommended to check out AdapTABLE Desks instead – a less well-known local brand that offers MORE options but at a lower price (‼️)

👍🏼 We opted to purchase our desks locally for convenience and peace of mind, and the only option with consistently good reviews was Omnidesk, but their lower-priced desks were very limited in colour and table sizes. Luckily, our neighbours recommended AdapTABLE Desks to us which had many more wood laminate options and even solid wood options!!! AdapTABLE claims that their wood laminates are thicker than those offered by Omnidesk, and their tables come in four size options (120, 140, 160, 180cm) with options for add-ons.

📍 We picked out desks with a light wood laminate that fit well with our home, and after 6 months we’re happy to report that the quality is great!!! Everything is neat, stable and works well, and we’ve had no warping issues despite occasionally forgetting to use coasters. Admittedly, we don’t stand that often but the adjustable option makes the desk more comfortable for different sitting positions, and will let us use it for a kid’s desk in the future (I suppose it will last that long since there’s a 10-year warranty?)

🤑 We’re glad we didn’t shell out more money for more popular brands as the price difference is not justified. Though more pricey than Taobao options, the quality, efficient installation and peace of mind from local support & extended warranty makes this 💯% worth it for us!!
