Who says there’s nothing to do in Bintan?🏝

There are Soo many things to do in Bintan, a perfect weekend getaway for you and your family!

1. Overnight Fishing

We rented a fisherman boat out to sea from 9pm to 3am and I saw a whole night sky full of stars 🤩 Super worth as compared to Singapore where there’s light pollution everywhere :(

The fishermen brought us to their fishing spots where they know there’s a lot of fish, and surely enough, within the first 10 minutes, my friend and I had our bait being tugged on. Sadly I was too slow to reel the fish in and LOST IT….

The 6 hours at sea passed superrrr fast because I really enjoyed fishing, and as it was my first time everything was new to me. It’s definitely for the adventurous people who want a bit of fun in their trip!

2. Kelong Restaurant Food

Just wanna special mention the boss aunty at this Kelong for treating us so well, cooking AMAZING food, helping us rent fishing boats, and recommending places to eat.

Her food is SO GOOD.like really. Feels like I’m drugged whenever I eat it. The crabs here were just perfectly fresh 😩 the meat fell out of the shell without much peeling because these crabs had just died less than a day ago!

3. Sightseeing at

📍Address: Bintan Buyu

This was a tiny village really similar to GBTB in SG, just that it overlooks a HUGE MOUNTAIN! There were Soo many pretty flowers of all kinds, and we even saw a red pineapple. The village takes around 1 hour to explore and there’s an entry fee of only SGD $1.40!

I really enjoyed releasing stress from my Bintan trip and had a lot of fun. Would totally go back for the fresh fish, crab, lobsters and clams 😩👌

P.s we stayed at pearl resort Bintan if anyone is interested, and they have a hugeee room overlooking the beach which is directly linked to the ocean. 3* hotel and actually superrr worth the price.
