Spending $400+ on dinner

Hey guys! Recently it was my first anniversary with my partner and he surprised me with a dining in cable car experience!

This whole dining experience took us 1hr 30 mins with 3 full round of cable car trip.

There was an option to choose 2 or 4 course meal and my partner booked the 4 course meal.

When we arrived at the top of mount faber via cable car, we were told that each we reached back at mount faber, the chef will clear our plates and pass us the next course meal to continue. Tbh when I first heard about it I was wondering whether I’m able to finish it on time knowing how slow I eat 🤣🤣🤣

Okay now to the waiting game. While waiting in line for your cable car, they will pass u a welcome drink which was moscato wine.

Now moving on to the food review!

⭐️⭐️⭐️: soup and appetisers was alright I guess. The clam chowder was a little too thick for my palate but my partner cleared his bowl. The salmon tasted really fresh with no fishy after taste to it

⭐⭐⭐: Lobster was good tho not the best but what can you expect from dining from such location 🤣 The steak was quite small from the pic as you can tell and we felt it could’ve been better if the portion was bigger

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: The dessert was probably the main highlight here. The cake and sorbet goes so well together???? Not forgetting that they went on an extra mile and provide us anniversary cake which we didn’t request for as well

Overall it was a good experience to try and I most likely won’t do it again but do let me know is it worth spending $400+ like this?
