Is this Italian Restaurant worth the 3 month wait?

𝑭𝒊𝒄𝒐 is a 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 that’s really hard to get a reservation at and we had to book our reservation a month in advance. It is known for its beautiful interior where you’ll get to enjoy the views of ECP while enjoying a good plate of pasta.

We had the 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬 and were greeted with toasted bread topped with burrata cheese and tomatoes. While the cheese was good and the bread was toasty, the tomatoes were simply too sour and overpowered the whole dish.

We also got the 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐄 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐞 which was flavoured with 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲. We found the spaghetti slightly undercooked and the pecorino too sharp which overpowered the dish. It was also lacking in any freshly cracked black pepper flavour.

Fico had our hopes up due to how hard it was to get a reservation but they disappointed in the flavour department as the dishes we had were not well-balanced at all. If you’re thinking of giving Fico a try, I’d recommend you give it a miss.
