I LOVEEE any activity that has

less input but higher output.

So instead of sitting down to meditate only

, I’ve learned that walking does not only:

1) give me a space for decompress from daily grind

2) calms my mind down cos it feels like I’m doing something while relaxing

3) gives my eyes a break from devices

4) can be done so easily

5) breaks my day so I’m not “hustling” or striving to be healthier, it’ll come naturally

It also

1) keeps my heart health in check

2) keeps my weight down because you’re burning calories by keeping your heart rate up when you walk intensely (brisk walk)

3) spikes the metabolism because you’re using more energy

4) easier on my joints because it’s a low impact activity with relatively high ROI

5) you don’t ever have to wait to do it, meditation needs a calm quiet setting. But walking can zone you out, much like jogging.
