🕰️ CONTEXT

So since last year, I’ve been trying to workout more. I joined BFT from oct 2023-Jan 2024 but I realised it is not for me. My diet definitely wasn’t great and one thing I realised is, I didn’t enjoy the classes. It was a dread going to class. Not their fault, it is just me. I hated the breathless feeling during HIIT. So I stopped BFT and just go running 1-2 times a week.

In june 2024, I realised look damn ugly in photos and something has to be done. Few of my friends went to this gym and they LITERALLY SHRANK so I decided to try it too.

I have signed PT packages in fitness first before and it wasn’t effective… I was afraid this time round will be the same :(

🏋️‍♀️ STARTING PT

I did a trial class with Hanzel first before signing 10x with her. In week zero she asked me to sent her all the food I ate.

In the end of first week, she gave me an excel sheet to follow, basically the steps I have to clock and the food I have to eat.

It was great cause I’m a visual person so it was easy to just follow the excel sheet on what I should eat.

💭 THOUGHTS

One of the homework I have to do is to walk 15k steps daily. Initially I was damn skeptical because you sure you can lose weight with just WALKING?!

Lol this is my 4th time losing weight and the first 3 times was high intensity exercise and they were all effective. So doing Low intensity was challenging my beliefs.

BUT BOY, it is very effective 😂 I will be drenched in sweat at the end of my walk. And because I walk, fats are burn slowly/ consistently that I don’t feel as hungry if I were to do HIIT.

Walking is super easy please, lol I watch brainless web cdramas to pass time while walking in the park.

Cost: $1200/10 sessions

If you have the means for a PT, I highly recommend going to a good one to guide you to lose weight!

I’m starting season 2 with another trainer (the boss) today and follow me to see if I can hit my goal weight of 56kg in the end of 10 weeks 😝
