Gaomei Wetlands in Taichung

Located in Qingshui district in Taichung, Gaomei Wetlands is pretty far from Taichung city.

The muddy coastal area was mainly filled with locals of all ages. You need to take a long walk from the side of the road on boardwalk to reach the wetlands where you can remove your shoes and just walk on the soft soil.

The sunset view was very nice there and it wasn’t too warm there due to presence of wind.

Quite a relaxing place to be at.

It’s better to wear slippers there so that you can enjoy walking on wetlands.
