This beautiful place is in the Hudson Valley, it offers a lot of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy breathtaking hikes along scenic trails, including the famous Appalachian Trail. There are over 50 official trails covering 235 miles (378 km), featuring a wide range of difficulties and elevation changes.
Or take a leisurely stroll around Hessian Lake. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a boat or kayak and explore the lake's serene waters.
The Bear Mountain Zoo is also worth a visit, there is a lot of various indigenous animals.
Entry to Bear Mountain State Park is free, but parking is 15$.
Boat and kayak rentals are reasonably priced, starting at around $15 per hour.
Zoo is free but you can make a donation.
