if you want to wake up early, you have to go to bed early…. period! if your goal is to wake up time is 5am, that means you need to be trying to sleep by 9pm. it also means you have to spend the hours leading up to bedtime doing things that will support your sleep. this is a nighttime routine that will do just that.
5:30-6pm: dinner
6-7pm: high energy activities
7-8pm: lower energy wind down activities
8-8:30pm: skin care & heatless curls
8:30-9pm: final wind down
you can adjust these times to fit your needs but be sure to each dinner at least 3 hours before 9pm and turn off screens 1 hour before bed.
it may take time for you to actually fall asleep at 9pm, but the longer you stick to this routine the easier it will be to actually fall asleep on time. couple this routine with a slightly earlier wake up time each morning. eventually waking up at 5am will be a part of your life and falling asleep early will be easy!
