This book does a great job at explaining what generational trauma is and how it travels from one generation to the next. What I love most about this book is that it tells real stories about real people, which makes it very personal and sheds a light on the topic of generational trauma as well as how important the guidance and resources provided in this book are.

I also appreciate that as you read the book, the author encourages you to stop and participate in different activities. These activities encourage you to take his teachings and apply them to your own life so that you can explore your own feelings and understand your trauma.
