PET-FRIENDLY AIRCON KOREAN CAFE 😍🐕🍜🍚✨

its tough finding pet-friendly aircon places, and i found another one recently through lemon-8 so i’m here to give my review!

its pretty easy to get there, they posted a video on ig on dog-friendly ways to get there from the carpark (sheltered!)

you have to pay $20 to reserve a table so we just decided to walk in — arrived around 6.40pm & indoors was entirely full! (if you have dogs, you’re only allowed to sit at the half of the seating nearer to the outside terrace) so we waited about 20+min for a free table indoors

seating is a bit cramped, if you have big dogs there’s no way they are gonna fit 🥲 my dog is medium sized and he was already the largest one in the shop (& blocking one pathway already) also you have to wear diapers for your dog (my dogs first time!) & if you dont have any, they will provide for you ~ they also give your doggo 2 balls of frozen yoghurt as a lil treat which we really appreciated :>

so now onto the food! 🍱

Original Tteokbokki 🥢 ($10.90)

- liked the chew of the tteokbokki! it was not bad, but not mindblowing so it’s just quite normal ~

Sweet Chilli Korean Fried Chicken 🍗🐔🌶️ ($14.90)

- noms! my favourite dish from here! i liked how the chicken didnt have a frozen taste & that they were very generous with the sauce. got it mild bc my sister cant take spice but it was still rly yums (altho rly no spice at all… my sis cldnt even feel the spice)

- had like 6 big pieces so it was deffo enough fr us to share ~ 🤤

Beef Bulgogi 🥩🍚 ($24.90)

- quite hard, not as tender as it should be… and also pretty meh in terms of taste… ive had better elsewhere! 🫤

- does NOT come with rice, it is an additional $2.50 which is SO EXPENSIVE 😭

- banchan was refillable tho! kimchi, seaweed & potato

Tofu Stew 🥘🍲 ($15.90)

- also does not come w rice…

- we accidentally ordered the vegetarian version and it only had mushrooms, tofu and egg

- it was VERY bland and tasteless, not even spicy, i highly discourage ordering this

Strawberry Bingsu 🍓🍧❄️ ($18)

- was a small portion for $18

- strawberries were quite sour, the strawberry sauce was sweet tho!

- quite meh, deffo will have better bingsus at bingsu specialty shops!

Barley Tea 🍵🫖 ($4)

- refillable so yay! but slightly expensive…

- your normal typical barley tea! tasted good as usual

so now… my overall thoughts… WAS IT WORTH IT? personally, its a no from me. it was very expensive for the quality & quantity of food we got… most of the dishes we ordered weren’t great, but perhaps its j those dishes so KIV if you’re planning to go!
