black sesame lovers THIS IS 4 U

was in the area & decided to pay a visit to this cafe! has been on my list after seeing mutuals raving about their drinks! specifically the black sesame matcha 🫣

my bf actly walked past a few times cos his barber is at far east plaza & said its q crowded during the weekends! we went around 3pm ish & there were a few people doing their work & reading there ~ felt very cosy & they also seem to have quite a few regulars!

in love with the tables & plates that they use... mismatched but fits just right ukwim ~ very like traditional & vintage-y hahaha was choosing where to sit & saw the clear table i was like I NEED THAT!

the staff was v friendly n gave an introduction on the menu & recommended us the drinks & cake! they also serve quiche but we were craving smth sweet!

☆ iced black sesame matcha

y'all idel black sesame but i gotta admit this was so good.... i can see why everybody raves about it! it was fragrant & nutty ~ did not expect black sesame & matcha to be a good combi but they blended so well together! especially if ure a black sesame fan PLEASE TRY!!!

☆ strawberry latte

very different from the strawberry latte i expected. this was surprisingly quite sour & tart-y! i wished it was more milky ~ i do like strawberries but personally would not go for this again cos i prefer smt sweeter! yall can see how generous they are tho with the strawberry puree thingy it was like 80% 🍓 n 20% 🥛 HAHAH

☆ banaoffee (banana, chocolate, toffee)

this was more like a tart rather than a cake imo.. super generous with the banana wow it was chonky AF i was honestly q shookt LOL the cream was so light n fluffy & paired well with the chocolate toffee base + the presentation!! so gorgeous ~

would be back to try their other cakes & iced speculoos!!! 😝
