Stuffed toys & ex 🧸

I always wonder what people do with the stuffed toys they have gotten from their ex after they break up?

Do they still think about the stuffed toy they have given to their ex like if it’s in good care?

From my experience, my ex has given me a few jellycats and I grew attached to them like they are my babies.

Although the relationship ended I can’t seem to throw away the jelly cats cause I see them as my babies and as absurd as this sounds I’m scared they will feel sad if I abandon them, even though they are not alive 😅😓

I promise to take care of them even if their “dad” and I weren’t together anymore. They have been my emotional stuffed animals throughout the entire relationship and till now.

I have also given my ex a Jellycat and given it a name and to this day I wonder if it’s in good care and condition I miss it sometimes too.

I’m just afraid that one day it will end up beside the dumpster and shivering in the cold rain, feeling sad and abandoned although it’s not alive still 😢

I told my ex once, if one day you decide you don’t want the Jellycat anymore because of the memories please give it to me, he can just hang it outside my door.

If he has a new GF, I hope she doesn’t destroy or throw away the Jellycat because it’s my precious baby, she can have my ex but don’t mistreat the Jellycat please 😭

I’m just glad I didn’t have an actual child with my ex or things will be harder for me cause I’ll be worried if he has the custody.
