I have a few nightly “non negotiables” that help me to have a more restful sleep. Although I try to have a consistent night routine before bed, these are a few things which I’ll always do, regardless of how busy I may be.
- Comfy pajamas: I love to throw on a cute and comfy set before bed 🥰
- Journaling: I’ll usually write in a journal about how my day went. Sometimes I’ll write whatever is on my mind, and other times I’ll follow specific journal prompts. I included a few nighttime prompts that you can use if you’re stuck on what to write.
- Meditation: This always helps me rewind from the day and fall asleep faster. “Countdown to Calm Sleep” is one of my absolute favorite mediations. I never seem to get past 10 minutes because I always fall right asleep. It’s a good idea to set an automatic timer in case you fall asleep too!
