Here are my nightly non-negotiables to help me feel my best and ensure a good night’s rest!

1: do my nightly skin routine ~ This one is my top priority non negotiable. I find it very therapeutic to do my night time skin routine. Plus, I’m also 30 now and I’m making it priority to take good care of my skin

2: read before bed ~ Spending some time reading before bed is a great way to unwind and clear your mind. I find that I also tend to sleep better when I read before bed!

3: tidy up my space ~ “A clear space is a clear mind.” I have to tidy up my apartment before bed. This gives me a clear mind before bed and I wake up to a clean space ready to take on the day

4: avoid drinking alcohol during the week ~ One of the things I’ve cut out recently is alcohol during the weeknights - this inhibits me from reaching my fitness goals. Instead, I’ve been enjoying making functional mocktails during the weeknights. I love making mocktails with some type of fruit, sparkling water or magnesium which helps to promote sleep!
