RELAXATION AND FOOD @ JB 😋

Other than shopping, eating is another priority of mine when gg to JB. Here are some places I rly enjoyed while @ JB 😛 self care + food best combi

🥂Rowan & parsley food atelier

- SUPER PRETTY INTERIOR, rustic garden vibes

- surrounded by all sorts of plants, if u r lucky u can see hummingbirds ard the area

- food is quite good too! Will rate a 8/10

- downside is the location is quite ulu and the service is quite slow (it was like half full when we went but i guess they are understaffed)

Breakdown of the food and ratings:

- Buttermilk chicken: 6/10 (nice crisp and the nicely cooked, but the taste just wasn’t to our liking)

- Pork belly: 9/10 (melts in your mouth 😩, not too salty and portion is just nice. But will be gelat if u eat too much)

- Mushroom risotto: 9.5/10 (everyt abt it was good, and surprisingly not as gelat as i expected! My chef bf approves!)

- Francessca parmigiana: 9.5/10 (perfectly cooked chicken, nice balance of flavours, nothing to complain abt)

I highly recommend this place! They also recently updated their menu and theres so many more options now!

P.S. not halal, alcoholic drinks available, theres more choices for dinner service.

💅🏻Young nails @ midvalley

- this was not planned at all but my hand got kiaped by the door and my nail broke (like right in the middle, hurt like a b****)

- went there to get them to fix my nails, the staff were v friendly and accommodating

- no hard-selling at all, the staff explained the process thoroughly and the respective prices

- I wld recommend this place but its not as cheap as other nail salons

- Paid a total of 70RM

Price breakdown: (I got 2 nails fixed btw)

- 10RM to remove current gel colour

- 20RM to fix my nail and apply hard gel? Basically it thickens my nail. Cant rmb the exact term (per nail, so total 40RM)

- 20RM to trim my cuticles, short hand massage, cuticle oil and the usual classic manicure process

🍞Sek Tong

- We went there for tea and its def singaporean priced! Converted to SGD it costs similar to Ya Kun

- The desserts were meh (wldnt recommend but its ok)

- Their bread and toasts were super good, i highly recommend the salted egg one, super creamy and the balance of sweet and salty was js nice!

🧘🏻‍♀️Bangkok spa

- LOVED BY ALL SINGAPOREANS

- free ride to whatever location you are at to their outlets!

- we did 2 aromatherapy and 2 normal thai massages! Together with the private room for jacuzzi and sauna (total 4pax) - almost 600RM! (Cant rmb the exact) The private room also came with toilet & a shower with shampoo and body soap.

- The massages were done rly well and the staff were all v nice! We did 90mins of massage and it went by SO QUICKLY.

BEST PART WAS THE LOK LOK DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE SPA!!!

🍡BANGKOK SPA LOK LOK

- Quite ex for loklok I feel HAHA (can defo find cheaper elsewhere in JB) BUT ITS SO GOOD??????

- The staff were also v friendly and explained what every individual stick(?) was

- No mosquitoes also even tho we sat outside and it was midnight by then!

- Sink to wash hands and 4 diff types of sauces (extra spicy, thai chilli spicy, satay chilli, mala chilli? i forgot so pls clarify w them if u go)

- it wasnt warm at all too, the breeze was so nice!! massage + loklok rly is heavenly 🥺🥺

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BANGKOK SPA BRANCH - TAMAN PELANGI

🍢Another loklok place which I rly love but didnt go this time is 百万镇大成淥淥 - Da Cheng Lok Lok Permas Jaya

- This place reminds me of Taiwan and the variety of loklok there is HUGE! They also have stalls selling bubble tea, ice cream, ramen and many other things!

- If you are a big fan of claw machines this place is def for u, theres so much…
