Healing with Books pt. 1

Hi! Welcome to my series.. Healing with Books where I share self help books that have impacted my healing journey. Book #1 is “Single On Purpose” by John Kim. To answer if this book is worth the hype.. I must say 10/10 definitely recommend. This was assigned to me by my wonderfully wise therapist after I went through a hard breakup. I struggled with truly knowing my worth and needed to do some major work on refining myself. This was my first self help book by a male author and I had some fears going into it. Looking at some reviews on Goodreads almost spooked me out of reading it but once I allowed myself to see what my therapist gave me this book to read, I was able to really learn about myself and the relationships I build with others. This book was more than just about romantic relationships to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the reliable stories and journal prompt questions. I still grab the book from time to time to refer to as I continue on this never ending journey of self love.
