FREE things to do in the 10th best big city

London can be expensive, but there are plenty of ways to make the city more friendly for budget travelers! Here are a few of my favorite free activities in the 10th Best Big City in the World.

Primrose Hill: It’s a beautiful view all of the time, but the best way to experience Primrose Hill is with an evening picnic and watching the sunset.

Victoria and Albert Museum: This museum houses over 2.8 million objects in its permanent collection, all free to view! They usually have a couple exhibitions going on as well that you can pay a fee to attend.

Daunt Books Marylebone: It’s free to browse, but truthfully I’ve never left without buying a little something 👀

Little Venice: If the weather is nice, take a stroll along Regent’s Canal and check out the fun houseboats, cafes, and pubs on the water.

National Portrait Gallery: A huge collection of portraits of famous Brits. I always learn so much here, especially about the history of the monarchy!
