The 10th best small city in the world

Conde Nast just released their best big and small cities in the world. I was so happy to see that Dubrovnik was on the list. I went to Croatia for the first time this year and I fell in love with the beautiful country but I specifically loved Dubrovnik. It’s charming, clean, full of life, and has the most beautiful beaches.

I know everyone talks about the islands but you can get the same feel in Dubrovnik. The food is amazing too. It’s overall not the cheapest city but it’s also not as expensive as Italy. My best tip when going to Dubrovnik is actually not to stay within in the city wall. I don’t know about you but I don’t like dragging my suitcase up stairs or around on cobblestone stones so I think it’s best to stay in Cavtat and take the water taxi in. The water taxi costs 20 Euros and it’s actually so scenic. I also like the beaches better in Cavtat. It has a more local feel and it’s easier to just hop in the water and grab a drink. I’m already dreaming of my next trip to Dubrovnik and I’m so glad Conde Nast loves Dubrovnik as much as I do.
