If lip sticks or tints constantly look patchy on you due to chapped lips, you may want to try out lip oils! They offer so much nourishment and hydration while giving ✨Colour✨. These are some of my favourite lip oils.

1) Apieu Honey Milk Lip Oil 🐝🍯

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/5

It smells less of honey but more of sugar syrup. I really like the rigid doe foot applicator which allows for even application. This product is really sticky and glossy, which may not be for everyone but I like sticky products as it is very lasting and will not get into my mouth easily. It is nourishing and leaves my lips soft and free of cracked lips after using. This is my second repurchase as it was on sale for $1.9 on Shopee which is so cheap compared to its original value of $5.44. I give it 3 stars because despite being really cheap, the formula is sticky and may not be the best.

2) Panpuri Nourishing Lip Tint Oil (Berry Red)

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/5

I got this from Thailand Airport for $25 which is way cheaper compared to online which is $30 as it is a premium Thai brand commonly known for their oil perfumes. I really wanted to get something from their brand but I didn’t like roll-on oil perfumes so I opted for their lip oils. I really like the shade Berry Red as it smells like strawberries and gives a bright berry red colour when applied. It is thick and glossy but slightly on the stickier side which isn’t a problem for me. It is also very nourishing on my lips and very lasting but for $30 I think it is very mediocre as the effect is very similar to other cheaper glosses and although the colour is good, it just wasn’t special in any way to justify the cost. Also, the applicator and packaging just a regular lip gloss tube which does not reflect its premium brand, hence a 3 star rating.

3) The Originote Lip Oil Serum

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/5

Guys this product literally likes its name, an oil serum. It is first glossy when applied but as it gets absorbed into the lips, the gloss/oil disappear. It is so nourishing and leaves my lips soft. This serum is peach coloured and sugar scented originally but I added some red and pink lip tints to add colour to the formula which is working out so well for me (refer to last pic for the tints i used to mix this cool cherry red shade). It retails for $6+ on Shopee which is very affordable for a lip oil of such quality. I gave this product 3 stars because I feel the packaging looks and feels pretty cheap haha, other than that it is great!

4) Clarins Lip Oil (Cherry)

I really live for this lip oil and I definitely agree this is a must have product for all lip oil girlies. It is so nourishing, hydrating and glossy while delivering this warm red cherry shade. I really love the formula for this product as it is not sticky and actually feels really light on my lips. Also, the scent of the product is closer to strawberry which I don’t mind as cherry scents are very hard to make and they tends to smell artificial like cough syrups which most people, including me hate. The packaging is so elegant and expensive which makes me squeal internally in happiness when I keep it in my cute little purse. The doe foot applicator is big and fat and unlike the Apieu one, the head is flexible and able to bend 90 degrees which is so fascinating and allows for easy application. I’m honestly so in love with this product I want to get them in different shades. I really wanted to try Plum but it was sold out in Malaysia. It is only $30+ in Malaysia Midvalley Southkey which is way cheaper than online and in Singapore. Do check out Clarins when u are in Malaysia!!

Overall, I think it is very important to go to stores and check the consistency and scent of lip oils before purchasing them as different companies tends to product different formulas and some may be too sticky or have overpowering scents. Out of these 4 products I own, I would definitely repurchase Clarins as it is really good! The rest maybe not as they have not really impressed me. After finishing these, I really want to try Nooni Lip Oils as I saw they are only $10 online and have good reviews! Do share with me if they are good if you happen to be using them!
