IS THE DIOR LIP OIL WORTH IT???

when the $9 lip oil > the $59 #dior lip oil 🤡 here are my two cents, as someone with REALLY dry lips (i’m talking scaly, peeling lips especially in dry weather 😭)

the og #diorlipoil ($59) - i got mine in the shade rosewood and it is SO pretty. wears like a lip gloss but not overly sticky (as a lip oil should be), but to me the formula is just okay only - it’s a bit minty which gives a nice plumping effect but only very slightly. frankly i wouldn’t pay full price for it - it’s only worth it during #sephora ’s 25% off sales or if you purchase in the boutiques (it comes with a lot of freebies) HAHA

#clarins lip comfort oil ($41) - slightly cheaper alternative but imo still kinda pricey for a lip product… i love the colour range especially the chocolate & berry shade. smells like a really sweet fruity dessert! but my lips do dry out still when wearing this.

the #fentybeauty cherry treat ($39) - has the best applicator out of all the ones i’ve tried. and this really does hydrate your lips at least for a few hours, i’m not constantly applying every 10 mins 👀

#colourpop lux lip oil ($14) - unscented so tbh it smells a bit like mix of olive oil + kerosene to me HAHA i am quite put off by the smell so I rarely reach for this. also it does nothing for my lips, it dries out even faster LOL. not a slay except for the wide shade range they have. but this is going into my trash bin 🤡

#thesaem eco soul lip oil ($9~11) - tbh this is the best value for money dupe + smells amazing and actually hydrates pretty well. it’s around $9 in korea but $11+ on #shopee /retailers in sg. but still the cheapest in this list 💀 honestly if you don’t wanna buy over a fad, but want something effective — I highly highly recommend this! the grapefruit one is 😍
