Why I will not be buying CLARINS Lip Oil again! 🙃

Thoughts:

I have extremely dry and chapped lips and is always on the lookout for moisturizing lip products. My sister recommended Clarins lip oil to me and I love how it looked on her. It has a subtle shine lip gloss look that enhances her natural lip color.

However, the lip oil has been quite a disappointment. After seeing raving reviews on it online, I expect it to be very moisturizing and not sticky on the lips. But, the formula is actually quite thick and gooey and it feels like a layer of honey on my lips. Also, it feels very present and heavy on the lips. It has very minimal moisturizing effect and seems to have more of a “Vaseline” sealing effect rather than have any hydrating impact.

Another con of this product is the packaging! I store my Clarins lip oil in a pouch and have experienced several leaks that are so difficult to clean up and have eventually left stains.

Also, the lip oil is quite pricey 💸
