Affordable hotel that I stayed in JB✨

Early this March, I celebrated my mum’s birthday across the border in JB. We decided to stay at [Holiday Inn Johor Bahru], right smack at Komtar Shopping Mall, which is also linked to the popular City Square! Checking in was smooth, and we were greeted by very friendly staff at the concierge. My family included hotel breakfast, and it was so so affordable. If I’m not mistaken, it was an additional $32 for each room (that’s about $16 for each pax, excluding tax & GST).

💭Thoughts:

The hotel breakfast was very crowded on that weekend. Try to wake up earlier if you’re staying over the weekends, but nevertheless, we didn’t wait for long to get a table for 6. The buffet spread was mainly Asian food, however, my fav corner was the bakery/toast area and their roti prata with curry chicken and potato! It would be better, if they had included dim-sum in their buffet, along with more fruits and dessert choices.
