I stay here every single time..😵‍💫

I go to JB often, I’d say I go at least once every month😂

I’ve gone to a few hotels in JB but this is my favourite hotel so far. Let me share w you why!

🍋 Capri Hotel

💰$97-$240 per night

Why I love this hotel:

💛 it’s just minutes away from the Woodlands checkpoint!!!

This is the number one reason for me. It’s just so near and there’s no time wasted on a long drive. Even if you take the bus or train, you can take the shuttle bus from City Square!

💛 extremely clean

im super fussy about cleanliness but this hotel doesn’t miss a spot🫧🛀

💛breakfast is delicious

I won’t go out of the way to say they have the best buffet, but it’s enough to keep me full! I love their local dishes- sometimes they serve nasi lemak or roti prata 😋

💛 some rooms offer bathtubs

This is a necessity for me HAHA. Take note: The rooms with bathtubs are above $100!

💛 safe parking

They have their own carpark with security which is great! Had no worries leaving my car unattended.

The cons:

❌ due to hotel being so close to the checkpoint, if there’s a major jam, the road to the hotel will be jammed up too.

I stayed at Capri during lunar new year and there was a huuuuge jam, it clogged up the road to my hotel 😭 I was stuck in traffic for about an hour. But this has never happened to me before so I would say only avoid Capri during peak holidays!

❌ the hotel gym is extremely meh. They only offered weights and some machines - not even cables! But if you’re normal and sane, you won’t even visit the hotel gym on a holiday😂😂 so this would be a non issue for most people.
