ITCHY SCALP? You’ve got to try a scalp treatment 😭

As someone who’s super serious about skincare, you’d think I’d take hair care and scalp care more seriously…

I recently got down to getting a scalp treatment and I’m honestly wondering why I didn’t do this sooner.

I got a scalp treatment from W Hair & Nails, a cosy lil’ salon located around the Redhill area (also near to some super nice char siu rice) 😜

The salon looks nice and modern! The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The treatment started with a scalp analysis, in which I was AGHAST and horrified at the condition of my scalp.

I learned that my scalp was in fact, very dehydrated, making it oily to compensate for this lack of moisture 🥹

The hair stylist told me that a healthy scalp will have more hair growing from a single root, but the sebum buildup and clogged pores prevent this, which could lead to hair loss in the long run.

𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙨:

1. High frequency device was used to kill bacteria and stimulate hair growth.

2. A ginger-based mask was applied throughout my scalp.

3. The hair stylist gave a really soothing head massage to get the mask fully in! I really enjoyed this 😴

4. It was left to steam to get the mask to detoxify and absorb all the nasties from my scalp 💩

5. Mask was washed off with ANOTHER soothing massage 💆🏻‍♀️

6. Anti-hair loss serum was applied with a misting device! Then massaged in. Yes if you’re wondering I’m loving the x3 massage.

7. Hair was blow-dried and that’s it 😀👍🏻

It was relaxing and MY GOODNESS my scalp felt immaculate after this 🥹 I felt like my life has been changed forever and I’m not even exaggerating…

As someone with a FOREVER itchy scalp, this was clutch and my scalp instantly felt soothed 👀

5/5 LIKE NO FOR REAL I FOUND NO FAULTS with this!!!

I really enjoyed the treatment and would totally get it again! Especially if you have a itchy scratchy scalp (iykyk), this help scratch the itch in a non-aggressive way.

It’s a steal at its price and the staff were really nice (my Chinese is abysmal so they tried their best to explain things in English) 😭
