MEAT ME OUTSIDE THESE KBBQ SPOTS 💗🥩

Pls appreciate this collage she’s a mess but she’s my mess…

Idk…nothing hits the same as freshly grilled meat over charcoal. KBBQ IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AND I’M RLY NOT KIDDING!!! Also I have a soft spot for buffets so two of my picks are buffets 🤙🏼😗 I could easily out-eat my friends bcus I really have an insatiable appetite when it comes to food…so I’m that friend that helps you recoup your losses at a buffet 🤪

Just sharing my fave spots for some sick authentic charcoal KBBQ (I’ve been back multiple times):

1️⃣ Don Dae Bak

This is a spot I go to when I’m broke but still wna eat a good meal. The price is $34.90!!!! For a buffet with decent quality meat!!! Yes I’ve upgraded from those $14.90 buffets of my secondary school days 😤

My favourite here is the pork belly and the thinly sliced beef brisket (limited to 150g per person though for the beef 🥹). Comes with refillable steamed egg.

Service is meh but I guess you get what you pay for? Overall a pretty decent spot that I hit up with my guy friends and we just have a massive meat party!!!

2️⃣ Seoul Restaurant

Located in Regent Hotel, Seoul Restaurant is my hidden gem that I don’t want to share for the worry that it gets too crowded. If I want solid meat and I want to eat A LOT, this is the place to go. The meats here are all of premium quality and you can really taste the difference between this and the cheaper buffets. It’s brimming with juices, but also not riddled with fat such that it becomes overwhelming and jelak. The beef is definitely the star of the show here, with the chadolbagi and galbisal being my favourites!

I usually go for the lunch buffet ($79) as it’s slightly cheaper and you can go on weekends too!

3️⃣ Hanjip

This is a premium option, but quality is what you get. The meat here are all premium cuts; in fact, there’s no chicken as an option here at all. The service is extremely attentive and side dishes were refilled without needing much prompting. Both the beef and pork are fab — check their Facebook for the occasional promotion such as a free plate of meat or dessert when booking!

I order the Hanjip Platter ($158) which consists of USDA prime ribeye, USDA prime boneless short rib, Kurobuta pork belly, and marinated pork collar.
