Rules for visiting newborns

As a first time, mom, the biggest struggle that I faced was setting rules for visitors.

Honestly, my first time being a mother was probably one of the hardest things that I ever had to do. It was one of the hardest seasons, too. As a recovering people pleaser, you can imagine how much I let slide that I was absolutely uncomfortable with.

Thankfully, this time around, I have a lot more people that are stress-free and I enjoy having in my home.

But these are some rules that I’ve had to set in order to protect the peace within bringing fourth a new life .

These definitely aren’t everything but they are the basics.

I think these go without being said. But another thing to add is to make sure that your hands are washed before touching the baby.

don’t wear any perfumes or fragrances.

I hope that this inspires the new mama to set those boundaries and protect her peace ❤️❤️
