Setting boundaries before people visit your new baby is often necessary. It’s for yours and your baby’s protection. This is a nice way of letting people know what to expect when visiting.

I chose to have very minimal visitors for the first month or so of my sons life and I just want to let you know that this is okay. You can say that you want some time alone as you heal and take on this new adventure. Most people should be quite understanding — you literally just gave birth so they better be lol.
