planted a tree during my internship 😮

disclaimer; not talking about my job scope in this post but more so my experience being in the team!

i could NOT have asked for a better internship experience 😭 daily lunches, monthly birthday celebrations, and a bunch of team bonding events it really is a 10/10 internship experience and i’m extremely lucky to be so included by my department

heard from my friends that other people they knew didn’t have a great internship experience and honestly that scared me quite abit because what if they don’t like me then i’m just there like 🧍🏻‍♀️ for my entire internship

but thankfully everyone was super nice and welcoming! like eventually it felt sad knowing i was ending my internship 😞

i told my friends about my internship experience and everyone just looked at me like 😮 because i went to sing k and bake cupcakes 😭 even walked a 10km marathon (it started at 6:30am or something i was not going to run) and sang xmas carols (very festive)

they even got me a farewell gift which was super unexpected 😭😭

it’s been about 10 months since i finished my internship and i still keep in touch with my (now ex) colleagues! even went to their team bonding in april where they booked a chalet and in july where they stayed over in jb!
