BREAKING NEWS ‼️ STRANGE MAN TAKES PHOTOS AT ISTANA

I went to the Istana during the CNY long weekend and took my Canon F-1 along. I loaded it up with some leftover Cinestill 800T and Porter 400, and I’m pretty happy with how some of the photos came out! My favourites are slides 2 and 8. Tilt your phone for the landscape orientation shots!

2 - There was a swan pond right after entering the Istana. I saw an opportunity for a shot as one of the swans was nicely framed by the pond. With 800T loaded, I knew that the highlights of the picture would be glowing red. I’m glad it came out just as I wanted, with the signature 800T red glow around the swan.

3 - I noticed some men in uniform whilst queuing for entry. I snapped this shot of an air force officer and I liked how he stands out from the normally clothed civilians.

5 - I noticed a potential composition whilst passing the food tents. I used the white cover of the tent to frame the people within it, and most notably, the food tent uncle in the middle of the image.

6 - Four scouts in uniform were standing in front of the Istana. I used it as a backdrop to frame these scouts. Turned out pretty well!

8 - Two brothers were sitting on a grass patch. I used the grass patch they were sitting on to frame the two when capturing this beautiful moment.
