WHERE IS MAMMOTH? 🏔️
Mammoth Mountain is located in Mammoth Lakes, California along the 395 corridor in the Eastern Sierra. Drive time is approximately 5 hrs north of LA.
WHAT'S THE WEATHER LIKE? ☀️
Mammoth is located in the Eastern Sierra mountains which get 300 days of sunshine a year! Giving Mammoth an infinite amount of outdoor recreation and scenic beauty all year long. Summers can get very hot & with the elevation, be sure to wear sunscreen & hydrate!!
HOW TO GET AROUND TOWN? 🚌
Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) is a bus service that offers complimentary transportation all around the town of Mammoth Lakes! They also offer a free trolley that will take you from town to the top of Mammoth lakes where you can ride the trails back down! They have plenty of room for your bike & the ride is about 20 mins up.
WHERE TO RENT BIKES? 🚲
There are several companies to rent bikes in town! I went with Outdoor 365 rentals. Bikes start at $50 for 4 hours. They also offer safety gear for rent as well!
