New York’s hidden gem!

✨ Eagle Cliff Falls is a hidden gem in NY. It often gets overlooked since it’s close to Watkins Glen. While this isn’t a long hike and doesn’t have the endless views like Watkins Glen State park does, it’s still stunning and deserves a spot on your bucket list. Especially since it’s an excellent waterhole.

👙 When me and my friend started hiking this short trail it says no swimming, but everyone we met on the way were wearing bikinis, trunks and towels. We quickly realized that while there is no swimming allowed, it’s still a great spot to dip your toes on a sunny day (or simply look at the waterfall on a cooler one).

🛝I’d say that this place is super kid friendly since it’s a short trail with a reward. Besides, there is a playground (and bathrooms) right by the parking lot.

😮‍💨 Difficulty: Easy - although there are some stairs

💰 Price: $2 cash at the entrance

⛺️ PS. You can also camp here! We didn’t this time around, but it seems like a great idea in the summer months.
