We stayed at the best hotel room ever! ✨💯

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙄’𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 5-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮! (𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 😎)

✔️ The room was hugeeee

✔️ Private pool in the sky with sea view - checked. The room is located on the highest floor.

✔️ Huge bathroom with a big bath tub that could fit us and baby

✔️ The rain shower area had plants and Venetian blinds that allowed light to filter in (very cool and typical of Parkroyal hotels) - villa feels.

✔️ Complementary minibar and welcome chocolate truffles

💰 Price: SGD $1.6K+ for 3 nights

The Parkroyal Langkawi also has plenty of facilities and amenities - you don’t need to leave the resort if you don’t want to! 🤓 Highly recommended for not only couples, but also families.

Our initial plan was to go to Westin Desaru for our first little family holiday with our baby. 😂 But plans changed after hubs came across a TikTok video about this hotel. We immediately booked our hotel and flights. Thankfully it’s only a 1.5hrs flight from SG! 😎

Side track a lil, we got married at the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay so we knew the service at PRL will be just as great 😌.

𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆:

💆🏻‍♀️ 𝗦𝗽𝗮

- We went for the Aroma Therapy Massage treatment.

- Was presented 3 types of essential oils to choose from and a welcome blue pea lemongrass drink.

- My masseuse, Fida was great 👍🏼 I think I fell asleep at some point 😗

- After the massage, I was served a pot of hot tea - I think it was red dates longan tea. Sweet and yummy.

🕹️ 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆 & 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀

- The Kids’ Club was epic!!! The floors were padded and there were so many toys to choose from.

- We went there everyday for about one hour. Our baby was well entertained 🤓

- There’s also a big playground aka Jungle Gym for the toddlers and older kids to play

- For the grown ups and adults, there’s an entertainment room filled with foosball table, pool table, race car machine, etc. Unfortunately it’s out of bounds for kids under 6 so we didn’t linger.

- My husband visited the gym twice. He said it’s very well equipped!

🍱 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱

The restaurant Lancava was undergoing reno so we could only eat at the main restaurant - Cassia.

- Breakfast buffet at Cassia: Huge spread with yummy food. The smoked salmon and smoked duck were my favourites. They switch up some dishes daily so you’ll never get bored of the food.

- Lunch at Cassia: Highly recommend the beef carbonara and goreng pisang with ice cream (super yumms 🍌🍦😋)

- Room service: The tomyum gai was awesome! The soup itself arrived in a hot flask so it’s piping hot.

- Pool side snacks: We ordered drinks, fried squid and fries. The squid were a tad salty for our liking. The batter was also quite thick so we couldn’t taste the squid at all. Fries were nice and crispy, as they should be.

🏖️ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵

The beach was very very clean. Pity we didn’t get to try out the weekend buffet on the beach. It would’ve been epic!

💦 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹

There are three segments - the water playground area for kids, the pool-bar area and lastly, the main pool which stretches out towards the beach. 🏊‍♂️

We didn’t have the chance to check out the adult-only sky pool because our baby was with us 🫢 But it certainly looked awesome.

❗️ One thing for parents with babies to note:

The nursing room located right beside the pool is super cold 🥶 and there’s no hot water dispenser there.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Parkroyal Langkawi. The service was great 👍🏼 Everyone’s very friendly. The hotel felt very spacious - we didn’t have to wait for the pool side benches nor seats at the Cassia restaurant. Langkawi island itself is very chill and nice. Will do another post to show you where we went 😁
